The therapeutic bond is detrimental to being able to process traumatic events and effectively heal from these experiences. Finding the right therapist is the most essential part of therapy. I will incorporate this therapeutic modality to help you identify your negative thoughts and how thoughts and behavior are interconnected and influence each other. EMDR is a structured therapy designed to help you, the patient, focus briefly on trauma memories while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation through eye movements. This process is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotional intensity of those trauma memories. Together, we will build a strong therapeutic bond and provide plenty of education before we begin. My goal is for my clients to feel empowered as they enter the EMDR process. As a clinician who has personally experienced EMDR and is now CERTIFIED, I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable, secure, and safe while addressing deep-rooted traumatic events.

With this approach, the clinician will help you achieve a balanced mental state. Mindfulness therapy is used to help us stay in the present moment. Combining mindfulness practices with elements of CBT to prevent depression relapse.
• Common uses: Anxiety, bipolar disorder, low mood, unhappiness, depression-relapse prevention, and treatment-
resistant depression.
This is a therapeutic approach that aims to help those who struggle with shame and self-criticism, often resulting from early experiences of abuse or neglect. We will work together to create a safe, empathetic environment in which we can genuinely process our deep-rooted insecurities and shame.
We will explore unconscious processes and past experiences that influence current behavior and work to identify common patterns in one’s thoughts, experiences, or relationships.
• Common uses: Personality disorders, trauma, and unresolved childhood issues.
We will aim to balance acceptance and change to manage emotional dysregulation. We will also work to correct any unwanted behaviors.
• Common uses: Borderline personality disorder, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.
This brief, goal-oriented approach emphasizes finding practical solutions to current challenges rather than focusing on past problems. In this therapy, we identify your strengths and resources, helping you create positive changes and set achievable goals. The focus is building a future that aligns with your values and aspirations, making it a quick and effective option for addressing specific issues.
• Common Uses: Short-term issues, crisis intervention, and goal-setting.
